Who is responsible for your data

Logística Rivers, S.A. de C.V., located at Víctor Zúñiga 927, Colonia Felipe Ángeles, Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you share with us through this site. For any matter about your data, write to trafico1@logisticarivers.com.

What we collect

What you enter in the request form: your name, your company name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and the details of the shipment you want quoted (origin, destination, type of freight, frequency and details). We do not ask for or process sensitive personal data.

To prevent abuse of the form, when you send a request the server records the time of the attempt together with a one-way hash of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address. We do not store the IP address itself.

What we use it for

We use your data to answer your request, prepare a transportation proposal and follow up on the business relationship that results from it. These are the purposes behind your request and are necessary to handle it.

We do not use it for other purposes, such as advertising or prospecting, which would require your consent. If we ever wanted to, we would ask you first.

If you choose to send your request by WhatsApp, the message is sent from your own WhatsApp account and is subject to that service’s terms.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or hand over your data, and we make no transfers that require your consent. The providers that host the site and our email handle it only on our behalf, so the site and the email can work. Beyond that, we would only disclose it if a competent authority requires it under the law.

How to limit the use of your data

If you do not want us to keep using your data, or you would rather we stop contacting you, write to trafico1@logisticarivers.com and we will act on it.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You may access your data, correct it, cancel it or object to its use (known in Mexico as ARCO rights), and withdraw any consent you have given us.

To do so, send your request to trafico1@logisticarivers.com with the following: your name and a way to reply to you; a document proving your identity or, where applicable, that of your representative; a clear description of the data involved; the right you want to exercise or what you are asking for, and anything that helps us locate your information. If you ask for a correction, state the change and attach the document that supports it.

We will reply within twenty days of receiving your request and, if it is granted, carry it out within the following fifteen days. These periods may be extended once, for the same length of time, when the case justifies it. The process is free; only the cost of reproduction, copies or delivery may be charged.

If you receive no reply or disagree with it, you may file a data protection request with Mexico’s Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno within the following fifteen days.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep your data only as long as needed to handle your request and the business relationship that results from it; after that, we delete it.

We protect it with reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures, and only the staff handling your request can see it. If a security breach significantly affected your rights, we would inform you immediately.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores two items in your browser that do not identify you, and it only loads the Google map, which does use Google cookies, if you accept it. The details, and how to change your choice, are in the Cookie policy.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, we will publish the new version on this same page, with its update date.
